Two bedroom, two bath log cabin, with a queen bed in each room. Full kitchen (minimal kitchen supplies), living room with fireplace, Air-conditioning, TV, screened in porch & large sun deck. This cabin is perfectly situated for ride in/ride out access to Ride Kanuga Mountain Bike trails. PLEASE NOTE: Access to this property requires driving about a half a mile up a one lane gravel road which crosses a stream. Low profile vehicles or oversize vehicles may have difficulty accessing this cabin.

It's a short walk to the Oklawaha Greenway, several restaurants and stores, and a quick scenic drive to all the beautiful spots in Western North Carolina.

Built in 1979 by Greg and his amazingly talented family (I helped a little), a family that has lived in this area for generations. Each stone in the floor to ceiling fireplace was selected and hauled from nearby creek! The house is sitting on a hillside, so you can enjoy beautiful sunrises and winter views from the front deck. Stream Side Studio - Unplug and Relax!

The Stream Side Studio, private and secluded, is the perfect place to unplug. Guests always remark about the soothing sounds of the water flowing very close by. Gazebo and fire pit are included - about 15 steps away from the cabin. Compost toilet in Studio with access to additional large bath/shower within walking distance. About 7 acres to explore: meadow, stream and woodland trails.
