Birch Burn Retreat

Birch Burn Retreat, a former 19th-century church, offers a tranquil escape with forest walks, hammock relaxation and firepit nights. It has electricity, heat pump, wifi, and a simple kitchen with a mini fridge. Accommodations include double/queen beds for four adults or a larger family with camp cots. Essential facilities include portapotty, wash station, and fresh water. Dogs are welcome. Enjoy the secluded beauty of Birch Burn Retreat. Due to provincial ban, fires not allowed until ban lifted

Salt Marsh Cabin near Lawrencetown Beach

Peaceful and relaxing, the Salt Marsh Cabin is a 2 minute walk to a gorgeous local beach where you can try your hand at clamming, fishing and is great for swimming. A five minute drive to Lawrencetown beach perfect for surfing. Walking distance of Rose and Rooster cafe, great for coffee and breakfast! A great spot for bird and wildlife enthusiasts, you’ll see herons fishing and deer and foxes outside. 10 minutes from Porters Lake for all the amenities you need, 20 minutes to Cole Harbour.

My cottage is very modern and unique; it sits on a private 5 acre lot surrounded by woods overlooking Middle lake with stunning sunrises. Enjoy being engulfed by nature with the comfort of everyday amenities including a hot tub and even an arcade with over 800 retro games! The dock and canoe at the lake are available for use during the summer months but will be removed in October until spring. Ski Martock/Ontree, Bent Ridge Winery are within a 10min drive from Chalet Hamlet.
