We have a kayak for your pleasure. Enjoy the spectacular view from the hot tub or the spacious deck. Herring Cove has much to offer with its hiking, sight seeing, simply sitting at the dock, or visiting our popular Pavia Cafe. It is a 15 minute drive to Downtown. This is a great spot for cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts.

The Ravine

Welcome to the Ravine! This is a self contained guest suite with its own entry. It contains all you will need including a large bed-sitting area, full 3 piece bath, queen size bed, sofa, TV, kitchenette, breakfast nook and lovely little deck looking out towards the Maples and to Lake Banook - famous with paddlers, kayakers and rowers from around the world. This adorable completely re-modeled cottage is steps away from the beautiful, sandy, salt water beach known as Coolen's Beach in Shad Bay, Nova Scotia. Twenty minutes from Halifax with hiking, kayaking, golf courses and restaurants all close by and scenic Peggy's Cove a short 20 minute drive away.
