The Tower

The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. Blackthorn Hideaway is our luxury, bespoke Shepherd's Hut. It has open field views and is surrounded by beautiful countryside walks, pubs, restaurants, famous attractions, and is only 20 minutes from the Peak District National Park. The Hideaway is the perfect location for a romantic break with your small dog (additional charge). Outside is a private, decked area with chairs, table, luxury outdoor slipper bath and fire pit - a perfect place to relax, unwind, and cosy up under the stars.

The Flat, Shepley secure parking & welcome hamper

A spacious, detached and self-contained one bedroom flat - access via steps with handrail. It is just 5 mins walk from the village train station with access to Manchester, Leeds and direct to Sheffield. It has open plan living, dining, kitchen and study areas with separate shower room and parking within a private gated driveway. No use of main garden but has french windows, juliet balcony and a lovely garden view. Ideal for a relaxing break. Close to Holmfirth, Yorkshire and Peak District.

You can see deer in the forest, bullfinch, kingfishers, nuthatches, and herons, and you can hear the owls nocturnal twit wooing. Close to a waterfall on the river Dearne, this truly is a magical place.

Located in the traditional market town of Penistone, this 3 bedroomed terrace house allows walking access to all the local amenities. The trans-Pennine trail and Penistone Paramount are just around the corner. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 with King Size beds and a third with 2 single beds. Downstairs, there is a lounge with a traditional fireplace and a dining room with table to seat six people. There is a downstairs toilet and a bathroom with bath and fitted shower. Parking for 1 car.

The Tack Store is a new barn conversion on our small farm outside the village of Silkstone. Views are some of the best in South Yorkshire, overlooking rolling hills and woodland, it's a perfect escape for those who love peace, quiet & walking. Equally we are only 1.5m from the M1 for guests wanting a more varied experience. We are child and pet friendly. We have tried really hard to create a relaxing home away from home. A hot tub will be installed for bookings April 25 onwards.
