A few minutes drive to the beautiful market town of Helmsley and Malton, with all amenitites, cafes/restaurants. Michelin starred restaurants The Pheasant, The Star, The Black Swan and Restaurant Myse are a few minutes drive away and The Yorkshire Spa Retreat.

Once a Victorian photographer’s studio and home to ‘Dolphin Man’ Dr Horace Dobbs. Garden, terrace and spacious lounge for relaxing after coastal walks or moorland adventures. We’ve created a place of joy, creativity and comfort, where exceptional cleanliness and professionally laundered linens ensure a fresh welcome, and every guest can make unforgettable memories.

Sandside Retreat

Sandside Retreat is situated in the heart of Whitby’s Old Town, at the foot of the iconic 199 steps leading to the Abbey. ; whilst tucked away for peace and quiet. Just a stone’s throw away from Tate Hill Sands, harbour, shops, restaurants and bars. Sleeping up to 3 guests, it features a cosy living room with separate kitchen/diner. There is a private patio which overlooks the sea towards the East Pier. Unlike many cottages to the East Side, there are no steps leading up to the cottage.

Rowan Cottage is a light, bright, three bedroom cottage. The cottage, which was once the village police officer’s station and home, accommodates up to six people and offers beautiful views over the delightful Esk Valley. Rowan cottage sits within the beautiful village of Sleights, nestled between the seaside town of Whitby, and the ever changing North Yorkshire Moors. The cottage offers a perfect base for exploring the area, and is well connected by road, bus and rail.

We are a dog friendly and human friendly home. Sleeping up to a maximum of 6 humans. With a large, fenced garden, there's ample space for your pooch and children to play safely. Upon arrival you are welcomed by the sight and sound of the sea and a bottle of bubbly, free of charge. With luxury furnishings throughout, you will not be disappointed. Relax and unwind in the newly refurbished one bed Irishman's Cottage. The cottage retains many old features and is surrounded by the rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds. The living space is open plan with ample space for a couples retreat or family break away. In the summer months dine al fresco and enjoy a BBQ on the private patio besides the wood burning hot tub. A short walk away is our private lake, where you might catch site of a resting deer or hare!

Coach House Cottage a perfect seaside retreat

Coach House Cottage is an old Fishermans cottage above what used to be a stables and coach store (Now a dinosaur and fossil museum). Well situated, above the main street, in the lower part of Robin Hoods Bay it is moments from the beach, the dock, and the hustle and bustle of village life. The cottage is approached along cobbled alleys and/or up a series of stone steps. It is set in its own private back alley.
