Our lovely, spacious and welcoming Air Bnb accommodation is situated in the village of Detling in an area of outstanding natural beauty at the foot of the North Downs which is perfect for enjoying beautiful countryside walks or cycling right on our doorstep. We are within easy reach of Maidstone and the beautiful village of Bearsted where you can easily commute to either London or the coast. We have lovely old village pubs and village store within walking distance as well as a Tesco's nearby.

Goldcrest Lodge is a peaceful hideaway within secluded woods on the 140 acre historic estate of Wadhurst Castle. It is designed to blend in to its woodland setting, yet is bright and spacious with modern luxuries - perfect for a romantic break, a restful escape or for reconnecting with nature. It has a double bedroom (5' bed) with huge picture window, a central main room with sofa bed leading to a kitchen area and separate shower room beyond. Decking and private screened bath. Perfectly located for a short break, this beautiful fully renovated to a high standard Grade 2 listed cottage is a few minutes walk from 24 bars, pubs & restaurants in the popular market town of West Malling. We have a free parking space in town if required. Unfortunately steep narrow stairs means may not be ideal for the very young/old. 11 minute walk from train station to London, perfectly located for a weekend getaway. Supermarket, boutique shops, beauty salons & coffee shops await you!

Whether you want a relaxing get away or want to explore many of the wonderful walks and bike trails the north downs have to offer you can be sure to find a warm and cosy place to stay at the end of the day. We have a very friendly dog who will be on hand to greet you along with 2 young children
