The Smithy at Cross Pipes, Goathland

The Smithy is a self contained stone built cottage situated on the edge of the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors. It was built in the 1800’s and was originally one of two blacksmiths serving the community of Goathland. The Smithy offers you a comfortable base to visit the local area. Spacious studio accommodation with a king sized bed in a recessed area, walk in shower and toilet, full kitchen facilities, wood burning stove, TV and Wi-Fi. There is an outside seating area and private parking.

Harwood Cottage is a very cosy self-catering holiday cottage in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park set in 150 acres of a private estate. It is central to all the local costal towns like Whitby and Scarborough. It is perfect for couples as it is very private and secluded location yet just a 10-15 minute drive to the local towns. The Cottage has all the facilities you need to have a comfortable stay. Including a fully equipped kitchen, Free Wi-fi, Washer/Dryer and a Smart TV.

Return to the dog field for afternoon tea or a glass of wine, where a bench for two in a peaceful sun trap provides panoramic views of the setting sun.

Nestled in a serene, private valley, our 150-year-old cow barn has been meticulously transformed into a charming retreat. The two-year renovation blends timeless character with modern comfort, featuring French-inspired decor, antiques, and intriguing curios that create a welcoming, intimate atmosphere. The open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area invites relaxed gatherings, perfect for family or friends. With no roads or foot traffic in sight, it’s a peaceful sanctuary to unwind in nature.

3 Railway Cottages is a cosy well equipped self-catering cottage, located just one mile from the market town of Pickering. It is dog friendly (£10 per dog per night) with a hot tub and garden including outdoor seating and a train viewing area right bedside the NYMR heritage railway. The cottage lies at the foot of the North York Moors and has many footpaths and bridleways close by for walkers and cyclists. The cottage sleeps up to 4 adults and has everything you need for a comfortable stay

Outside is a part-walled, sandstone patio with table and chairs and a large field which you are welcome to access.

An ideal place for walking and cycling, with many local tracks, footpaths and bridleways, or just relax in the garden and listen to the birds. If you fancy a day at the beach, Scarborough, Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay and Filey are all within easy reach by car, A great place to get away from it all, Dalby is also a designated dark skies site so it's great for star gazing on a clear night.
