This private, self contained accommodation surrounded by ancient railway & woodland offers a gorgeous interior with log burning stove, a tranquil setting to get cosy, relax and unwind. With stunning walks on the doorstep and many nearby Somerset landmarks to explore, this is the perfect unique escape to retreat or enjoy time with loved ones.

A quiet luxury getaway

The Cider House is a converted barn tucked away in the village of Pilton, Somerset. It is a large airy and light space. It has a private courtyard and garden, 24 hour under floor heating and hot water. There is a top quality superking bed, excellent for having sleeps in, with hand pressed sheets. To augment heat there's a wood burning stove. We supply and lay a first fire for you with enough logs to get it going after which you can purchase a sack of seasoned logs from us for £10.00 a bag.

Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. The Pavilion is a modern, purpose built holiday house in the quiet Somerset village of Yarlington. It has all the conveniences: Wood burning stove, underfloor heating, Washer & tumble dryer, Iron & ironing board, fast fibre optic broadband and a charging station for an electric or plug in hybrid car, but sadly the mobile phone signal is very poor. The house is next to the pub and a stones throw from the church. The Newt and Hauser Wirth Gallery in Bruton are within a 15 minute drive.

Beautiful and lovingly renovated Coach House in the heart of Pilton village, set in the lush private grounds of our family home. Two double bedrooms, one with free-standing roll top bath (option to add an extra bed/cot for a child); shower room; large open-plan kitchen, dining area and sitting room, with two sets of double doors leading to a private outdoor dining terrace (with BBQ & fire pit); view and shared use of our paddock with rope swing, baby swing and trampoline for children.

Relax on the patio, catch a view of the Red Kite soaring high, or visit the sheep, ponies, goats, ducks and chickens in the surrounding field. Get active on the many footpaths leading from our property, gently cycle the Somerset levels or try the more challenging rides on the Mendip Hills. Active or relaxing - we guarantee you will enjoy the view from our Lodge at the end of your day.

Within the grounds of the our property, it is very private and peaceful, with its own garden. It offers a wonderfully relaxing stay with walks in stunning countryside. There is plenty of wildlife around and deer sightings (especially at dusk) are optional! With an award winning pub a short walk away, what more could you want.

Hulbert’s Place: C15th house in the heart of Wells

This charming Grade II-listed two bedroom maisonette is situated within a row of ancient dwellings, just a short stroll from Wells Cathedral, The Bishop's Palace and the heart of Wells. Each of the two levels are embellished with wonderful authentic details such as original beams, restored timber floorboards and stone fireplaces. Originally built in the 15th century, the house has been sympathetically restored with an abundance of character, comfort and style.

The carriage has been hand built and reclaimed from an old Devon railway carriage into a luxury self contained space - perfect for romantic breaks in nature. Wi-Fi, cedar clad electric Hot tub, log fire & star gazing. We also have our own little shop selling soft and alcoholic drinks, home made candles, sloe gin and playing cards

Log Cabin near Wells, Somerset

The Cabin at Mellors Cottage is a fully heated self-catering log cabin, with a comfy double bedroom, bathroom and open-plan kitchen/living/dining area and private deck, located within a peaceful walled garden approx. 1.5 miles from Wells city centre. There is one allocated parking space for the cabin. The cabin is in the garden of our house. The proximity of our house to the cabin can be seen in the second exterior photo.
