Coast, countryside and towns at your fingertips

Recently refurbished one bed accommodation suitable for up to four people (and one well behaved dog) but please note 3rd and 4th guest will be using the sofa bed in the living room. Use of the wc and shower is accessed via the main bedroom. Plenty of storage for our guests is available and there is a large patio area with barbecue and table and chairs for your sole use. There is also one off road parking space available. We have great links to the Jurassic coast, market towns and Country walks

Idlers Cottage

Idlers Cottage, in the Somerset village of South Petherton; a hideaway with loads of charm; and feels like someone's home... perfect for a romantic break. Set in our garden alongside a thatched Grade 2 listed house. With its own small patio/garden. Perfect to catch the sun, unwind and enjoy an outdoor meal or a glass of whatever is your fancy. This Somerset hamstone cottage is a 3-minute walk to the village centre which oozes life with butchers, bakers, pub, deli, greengrocers and lots more.

The Annex - Middle Payne Barn

Located on the outskirts of Chard, the property is ideally located to explore Somerset and surrounding areas. Newly furnished and decorated to a very high standard for you to enjoy, The Annex adjoins our home and has a private front door. There is a king sized bed and a double sofa bed suitable for 2 children (in the same room). There is a kitchen area with fridge, dishwasher, tea/coffee and toast making equipment and a multi-function microwave. There is ample off-road parking.

Nestled in the chocolate box village of Hinton St George lies Lilac Cottage, a thatched 17th C grade 2 listed stone cottage that has been lovingly restored to modern standards. Living area: Open fire, WiFi, TV. Dining area. Washer/dryer. Bathroom: toilet, bath & shower. Kitchen: Cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer & dishwasher. Bedroom 1: King size bed. The location is the perfect mix of peaceful, rural country living, whilst still being just a short drive away from all of the local amenities, major transport links and tourist attractions.

Woodpecker Lodge - Log Cabin with Private Hot Tub

Each solid wood log cabin is encircled by trees for your privacy yet open enough to let sunlight through. We aim to give you that cosy, romantic log cabin retreat experience with a solid wood burner, private hot tub and free access to our seasonal outdoor heated pool (end May - Sept). If the dates you require are already booked, please look at our other cabins: Nuthatch Lodge, Tawny Owl Lodge, Hedgehog Lodge (all with private hot tubs) or Roe Deer Lodge.

Situated on the grounds of a beautiful Georgian farm formerly part of Forde Abbey, this 1 bedroom cottage has been sympathetically renovated to provide modern comfort & facility. A super-king bed master bedroom with separate bathroom, the living space benefits from biomass heating with a fully equipped large kitchen dining area. There are two private patios with a table for outdoor dining. There is an EV charger on-site available for guests use.

Furnished with a mix of genuine mid-century furniture and other vintage finds, this memorable bolt hole stands in a private courtyard with independent access. We allow well-behaved dogs.

The modern newly built luxurious self contained annexe is located on the ground floor, with its own front door to the right hand side of the main house. Guests will be greeted with external seating to the front, There is private off road parking for 2 vehicles with ramped access up to the front door, we also have a Key safe to the right of the front door, code available on request for late /Early access etc.

Abbey View Cottage - Scandi Hot Tub - EV Charging

With beautiful views south across the picturesque valley, our small garden overlooks Forde Abbey, with views of the magnificent avenue of trees, and the highest powered fountain in the country. Our cottage has been converted with the intention of creating a luxurious and peaceful space. The kirami wood fired hot tub has to be experienced to be fully appreciated in this amazing setting.

Smallcote - all year round bolthole in Somerset.

A little Somerset bolthole in the heart of the medieval town of Ilminster, half an hour from the coast, minutes away from the beautiful Blackdown Hills and surrounded by gorgeous countryside. A great little base from which to explore Somerset’s hidden gems. Smallcote is a completely separate dwelling in the garden of Olcote House.
