Built in 1883 and full of characterful features such as woodburning stove and exposed stone walls, the Cottage is very well equipped with BBQ, firepit, and outdoor seating. Set in 4 acres of gardens and woodland, guests can make the most of our peaceful location. Ideal for walkers, cyclists and those looking for a calming retreat.

Embsay is a quiet village with Bolton Abbey, The Tithe Barn, and Grassington; famous for All Creatures Great and Small, all within easy reach. Embsay has a shop, 2 pubs and a steam railway station. The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top was newly built in 2019 on the ruins of an old barn and decorated to the highest standards of industrial chic. Situated in a most unique location, high on the Ribble Valley side of Lancashire’s iconic Pendle Hill, it sits surrounded by sheep pastures where hare and fox come to say good-night. The End Place is a self-contained cottage adjoining Moorhouse Cottage. Downstairs is open plan, comprising a fully equipped kitchen and a living area with wood burning stove. A glass wall ensures uninterrupted views across Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, as well as starry-night skyscapes. Upstairs opens out into a magical, fairy-lit, vaulted bedroom with a king size brass bed adorned with crisp linen and includes en suite with shower.
