There isn’t a washing machine in the cottage but guests are welcome to use ours if they need to.

Ellesmere is a 1.5m drive, or a 1m walk/cycle along the canal towpath.

Dating back to 1269, it is the earliest property in the township with the unusual distinction of having been a double water mill. Although no evidence of the mill remains, If you stop and stare for a while you may get a sense of days gone by when the water mill would have turned day and night, grinding flour for the local folk.
