The Crow’s Nest

Quirky shepherds hut in quiet Somerset Village. Sleeps two in a standard double bed. Compost toilet. No shower at present but we are working on it. Woodburner in the hut as well as a heater in the outdoor space. It is situated in the bottom of our garden in an enclosed area for privacy. Gas stove for cooking provided along with tea and coffee. Ideal for weekend stays. We are near Longleat and Heal Rewilding. There are plenty of walks locally. Pets welcome but we do have a reactive GSD

Set on a lake in beautiful Somerset surrounded by rolling countryside, it is situated halfway between the popular artisan market-towns of Frome and Bruton and a short drive from Longleat. Four solar panels power your stay, providing you with a wonderful slice of peaceful tranquility.

Secluded Cabin on a Farm near Woods and Footpaths

Our Cabin is set in a secluded spot with lovely views overlooking farmland, horse paddocks and the surrounding countryside. There are many footpaths in the area. A 10 minute walk will take you into ancient Postlebury Woods or to our small aesthetic lake. Imagine coming back from a long relaxing walk or maybe from shopping and exploring the Roman city of Bath to a warming meal in the cabin followed by marshmallows over the firepit. If you'd like to bring your horse with you we can arrange it!

Relax in the large fire fuelled hot tub, lounge on the deck in front of the fire pit or grab a bean bag and find a quiet spot in your own private paddock. The Waggon at Westcombe

Our cosy waggon overlooks its own private valley, complete with 19th Century coachbridge and secluded wild swimming spot. Set in 25 acres of woodland and pasture, our waggon offers an opportunity to switch off, curl up with a book and get back to nature. It includes an ensuite with shower and its own kitchen.. Only 10 minutes away from Bruton, handy for The Newt and Hauser & Wirth. Westcombe Dairy & Woodsheddings Brewery taproom is a 3 minute walk and the Three Horseshoes a 20 minute stroll.

Modern & spacious house in the countryside.

The Pavilion is a modern, purpose built holiday house in the quiet Somerset village of Yarlington. It has all the conveniences: Wood burning stove, underfloor heating, Washer & tumble dryer, Iron & ironing board, fast fibre optic broadband and a charging station for an electric or plug in hybrid car, but sadly the mobile phone signal is very poor. The house is next to the pub and a stones throw from the church. The Newt and Hauser Wirth Gallery in Bruton are within a 15 minute drive.

The Green Hut: A haven of peace and tranquility

The Green Hut is a cosy but luxurious getaway in the walker's paradise of in Batcombe, situated just behind our converted barn in a tree-lined paddock. This self-contained shepherd's hut is perfect for one or two people to immerse themselves in true rural relaxation, whilst being close to the beautiful market towns of Frome and Bruton. Whether sat outside soaking up the views in the sunshine, or snuggled up by the wood burner on a rainy day, The Green Hut is the ideal place to unwind.

The cottage is decorated to a high standard,light and airy and looking out over open countryside With its own patio area for al Fresco dining in warmer weather Bordering the beautiful Longleat estate it is possible to cycle through the park Close to Bath, Bristol and Wells. Numerous attractions including cheddar gorge, Wookey hole and stourhead gardens The Jurassic coast is approx 1hr 20 min away by car If bringing cycles it is possible to store cycles in owners barn/shed

The Cow Shed

The Cow Shed is a bright and airy one bedroom holiday cottage/annex. It boasts a private entrance, hall, double bedroom, luxury shower room and comfortable loft living area with fitted kitchenette. The Cow Shed is set on a small farm with horses, chickens and goats alongside the river Frome. The cottage is great as a base to explore the area. We are a stones throw from the local attractions of Longleat, Bath, Wells, Stourhead, Alfred’s Tower, Cheddar and Glastonbury.

Wrens House is a shepherds hut nestled in the Alham Valley, an area of re-wilding close to the fashionable towns of Bruton and Frome. We have an outdoor bath so what better way to cool down and relax. Included in your stay is our delicious breakfast. Want a place you can get back to nature?
