Cob Cottage

Channel the pursuit of pause in this one-of-a-kind earth house. The cozy retreat was hand-sculpted using local and sustainable natural materials, and features a central living space with cantilevered slab stairs leading to the loft bedroom. Guests have access to the entire cottage and surrounding property. We live in the neighbouring house, and are happy to give advice or answer questions to help you make the most of your stay. The neighborhood is quite rural and mostly agricultural with several farms and a small private vineyard. The home is a 10 minute walk from the beach and a 20 minute walk from a family grocery and deli specializing in local organic produce. Mayne Island has a small community bus. Times and routes are limited, particularly in the winter. It will stop at the driveway. We also have an official hitch hiking system with signed Car Stops where you can wait for a ride. Usually you don't have to wait long. We are happy to offer pickup and drop off at the ferry dock as a courtesy to encourage car-free travellers, on days when the community bus is not running. Please let us know ahead of time that you'll be coming without your own transportation, and we will make sure that either we or the community bus (which will drop you off at our driveway) are there to meet you when your ferry arrives. The BC Ferries terminals near Victoria and Vancouver are easily reachable via public transit from their respective airports and downtowns.

Just steps away from the iconic Empress Hotel, Inner Harbour & Parliament buildings. The suite boasts a chef's kitchen, floor to ceiling windows, open plan living & dining area & a generous King bedroom w/ ensuite. Relax on the wrap-around balcony or enjoy building amenities like the gym, pool, & hot tub.

Cozy Studio Suite

Enjoy a cozy experience at this centrally located studio. The suite is a block away from the Gorge inlet and located close to bus routes heading in all directions. With it's own entrance, bathroom and kitchenette, the suite is on the ground floor and secluded from the rest of the house. The George inlet is one block away and makes for a lovely walk any time of day. We are a family with a 5 year old on the 2nd floor! While the sound transfer isn't bad, it's something to keep in mind ;)

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Treat yourself to luxury. Espresso machine, fine linens, heated bathroom floor, bidet, premium-local shower products and conveniently stocked kitchenette and breakfast items. **Ceiling height is 6’ ** (6’2” in the kitchen) This is a self contained suite with keypad entry. There is a combo washer & dryer unit in the suite. We also rent our car on Turo! Come enjoy a beauty peaceful vibe, tucked into nature, convenient & close to the action!

The Sea Nest - Your Ocean Retreat

The Sea Nest - A welcoming oasis for all is located within Colwood, part of Greater Victoria. (Provincial Registration # H420984100. Municipal Licence # 5533.) A beautiful studio and patio with its own private entrance. It is 15 to 20 minutes from Victoria and is on a bus route. Walk 1/2 a block to a 3 Km beach, look across at Victoria and the Olympic Mountains and you may see otters and whales. Across Esquimalt Lagoon, a bird sanctuary, is Dunsmuir castle, part of Royal Roads University.

It is in walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, pharmacies, liquor stores, walking trails, lake trout fishing, children’s playgrounds, and more. Our quiet family neighbourhood is only 15.8 km (10 miles) or 25 minutes to the bustling downtown.

One of a kind converted 1969 School Bus

This is a 1969 school bus lovingly converted into a tiny guest house in a whimsical garden space. We are located in a rural residential area near Sooke BC, just off the Galloping Goose Trail. (Km37) Surrounded by stunning beaches, pristine forest and coastal hikes, refreshing lakes and rivers, wildlife and natural beauty galore. A 30 minute drive from Victoria, or approximately 3 hour bike ride if you’re feeling adventurous.
