Welcome to your lakefront oasis in Youbou, British Columbia. Designed as a place for friends and family to gather, the Youbou Lakehouse is a sanctuary where you can unwind and connect with the natural world. Enjoy private lake access, a stunning view, 2 outdoor fire pits, paddle boards, a gorgeous sauna, salt water hot tub, and a massive 85” TV with surround sound. This private getaway is located on an acre of land right on the Ucluelet Inlet, within walkable distance to Ucluelet town centre amenities and town beaches. Start your day by enjoying a morning coffee on our ocean-front deck, watching seals, kayakers and fishing boats pass by. Explore the wonderful west coast, then retreat to the outdoor shower, sauna or Japanese Ofuro tub to wind down your day. We absolutely love relaxing here and want to share our love for this special place.

The Surf- Ocean Front-By the Beach- Outdoor Bath

Ocean front West Coast retreat located 40 meters above the surf, bordering China Beach. Enjoy beach fires, forest walks, hiking, mushroom forging and surfing. A short intermediate private trail will take you down to the beach. The 560 square foot cabin is set back on the property, offering spectacular panoramic views of the Juan de Fuca Straight. Cozy up by the wood fire in this cozy 1 king bed cabin or have a bath in the outdoor tub and enjoy the breathtaking views!

Beautiful 3 br, 2 bath A-frame style chalet with 20ft ceilings. Near Jordan River, China Beach, and the Juan De Fuca trail. Amazing cedar barrel sauna to warm up after a long hike, surf, of paddle. Beds include king, queen, and 2 sets of bunks (1 dbl 3 single) . Accommodates up to 6 people. Brand new, high quality. Includes modern kitchen with full size stove/oven, fridge, and dishwasher. Full size washer/dryer. Sorry, no pets.

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.
