Shepherd's cottage is a delightfully cosy annexe with it's own private entrance and own cottage garden. Tucked away on a no through road, that leads directly onto a bridleway and footpaths, Shepherd's cottage makes an ideal place to stay for those who simply want to get away from it all. We welcome 2 small dogs ( pet fee applies) and horses - with a choice of fields to keep your horse in ( additional charge of £25 per night for horses). The two bedrooms (one double with bath, one twin with shower) overlook paddocks where sheep graze and chicken forage.

Our home is in a typical Dorset village. It is one of the oldest properties in the village, but has been renovated to a really high standard. Everything is contemporary with a 'country' feel. Comfort is important to us and you will find a real home from home with the added touches that make staying here extra special!

Jasmine Cottage

Jasmine Cottage is a characterful, compact barn conversion, that sits next to the 400 year old farm house. It sleeps up to four people (including infants), with a double and a twin room. We are one mile away from The Wise Man Inn - an award-winning pub; 6 miles from Dorset's stunning Jurassic coast and 3 miles from the county town of Dorchester. You will, however, need a car- or bikes! Sorry, no pets and no smoking. No EV charging, yet, but there are many fast charging points nearby.

Large Thatched Grade 2 Cottage

The Old Forge is a large 4 bedroomed cottage in the marvellous and historic village of Milton Abbas. Unusually, the entire original village is listed as a grade 2*, steeped in history, and designed by the renowned Capability Brown. The local vistas and views are stunning. Our cottage is furnished in a cottagey period style but has all the modern conveniences needed for our modern day lives. There is a wonderful pub, although its is currently not serving food.
