Ivywood cottage is medieval in age, but contemporary in design, with luxurious finishes and fine detailing. The house is in a unique rural setting and was once part of the Gawdy Hall Estate. The house sits next to a beautiful 15th century church, set within a 3 acre church yard. Glorious and plentiful Waveney Valley walks in all directions. Guests have complete privacy and run of the house, including a private garden. We respect our guest's privacy, and are on call for any advice or assistance that you may need during your visit. The cottage is a short picturesque drive from the coastal gems of Southwold and Aldeburgh. Harleston and Bungay are quintessential English towns with charming independent stores, delis, family butchers, bistro cafes, pubs, restaurants, and tea shops. It's the countryside, most people drive. Diss is the mainline station between London and Norwich and is just 15 minutes by car. Cycling is very popular and the cottage is on a regular time trial route. Buses are very reliable and the village is well serviced making it easy to hop between Suffolk and Norfolk villages. There is fabulous walking from the cottage. Located in the Waveney Valley paths such as Angles Way which follows the Waveney river valley are right on your doorstep.

Cosy Cottage-charming village-3 miles to Southwold

Bright and airy cottage with modern interior in peaceful village just 3 miles from Southwold. Situated off the A12 for easy access to RSPB Minsmere, Dunwich and the Norfolk Broads and only 1 mile from Latitude music festival. Our popular "gastropub" local is only 100m from your door, and a well-stocked village shop with Suffolk-sourced produce and all the essentials is just opposite. There's a farmshop and nursery in the village, plus a children's play area over the road. Enquire for bike hire.

Birdhaven - Large Cottage 6.5 miles from Southwold

Birdhaven is a delightful cottage situated on a quiet lane in the pretty village of Wenhaston, just a few miles from Southwold and the Suffolk Coast & Heaths. This charming self-catering cottage offers cosy accommodation with plenty of natural wonders and attractions nearby. It features lovely views of the surrounding picturesque meadows which offer wonderful sunsets. The cottage has a large garden and driveway offering private parking and the woodburner makes it an ideal cosy winter escape.

The Stables is in a beautiful peaceful part of Suffolk, on the River Deben, with footpaths, wild swimming, pubs within walking distance, birdwatching, views for artists, and fabulous lanes for cycling. Perfect for paddle boarders and kayaks too. The Stables have been converted into a cosy country cottage with contemporary furnishings, fitted kitchen, bedroom with super king bed, en suite bathroom, shower room, wood burner, 2 TVs and wifi, books and games, and tennis court (by arrangement).

Queenies Cottage has been beautifully restored to retain many original architectural features whilst providing modern comforts; underfloor heating, woodburner, fitted kitchen , downstairs wet room and an ensuite shower room to the master bedroom. Set well back from the road, the south-facing, private garden has an additional covered dining space, great in àll seasons. Excellent unlimited fast broadband. dogs welcome Queenies is a delightful, generous space for 2 guests with a secure garden.

Additionally, it offers easy access to the town center, making strolls to the heart of Beccles a brief and enjoyable experience. With its location and amenities, the cottage is perfect for those seeking to venture into the picturesque countryside of Suffolk and Norfolk.

The Dairy at Bortons Farm

The Dairy at Bortons Farm is a self-contained annexe attached to the rear of the farmhouse. 15 minutes drive from Southwold, it offers a peaceful rural location but near to the beautiful beaches of Southwold and the busy market town of Beccles. We have 2 bedrooms, a shower room, two toilets and a fully fitted kitchen plus washing machine. Wifi throughout. Enclosed and secure garden. The living area has TV with Sky box and Amazon Fire TV stick. EV charging point available (charges apply)

It is in the unspoilt seaside village of Dunwich, and just a short stroll from the beach and pub/restaurant. In the heart of the conservation area surrounded by some of the country's finest nature reserves, it is an ideal location for enjoying country and coastal activities from your doorstep. Southwold and Aldeburgh are both a short drive away.

Harrow - Country cottage near the coast

Harrow Cottage has been converted from a Suffolk cart lodge to create a pretty holiday cottage tucked away in the stunning Suffolk countryside. Carefully restored to preserve the original character of the former cart lodge, Harrow is a semi-detached cottage with lots of natural light, stylish furnishings, cosy living area with a wood-burning stove. We have developed a Prairie garden in part of our garden and guests are welcome to walk through the Prairie which is at its best from May.

Daisy Cottage … discover Suffolk

Spend a little time savouring the delights of Suffolk in this little gem of a cottage so close to the beaches of Walberswick and Southwold. Come back to the wood burner in the autumn and winter and a lovely meal cooked for you at the Queens Head just 10 minutes walk away. Our Cottage is pet friendly for one dog, please add this when you make your booking. Due to the authentic nature of the cottage it is not suitable for infants or the infirm with its Suffolk brick flooring.

Mirabelle Cottage on the Suffolk Coast

Mirabelle is a charming, recently modernised two bedroom mid terrace holiday cottage in the centre of the village conservation area, sleeping up to four guests comfortably and is a perfect location for exploring the Suffolk Coast and historic sites like Framlingham and Orford Castles, Sutton Hoo and Snape Maltings. It's a great area for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers, with the magnificent Minsmere RSPB reserve just 8 miles away. Pet friendly (two dogs allowed).
