The property was rebuilt from the ground up in 2017, blending original timber beams and local stone with contemporary design to offer guests a haven of peace and comfort. Enjoy panoramic views of rolling hills, spectacular Barossa sunsets, kangaroos amongst the vines and blue wrens on the lawn.

The Barn might not be for everyone, especially if you need an en-suite bathroom, but it offers something truly special: no neighbours, no streetlights, and a vast sky filled with twinkling stars. Nestled on our five-acre property, Pondicherri, the Barn is part of a collection of historic outbuildings, offering a countryside escape. Plus we welcome your fur baby.

The Writer's Studio, Barossa

Perfect for one or two people, The Writer's Studio is fully self-contained. It has a really comfortable and firm inflatable queen bed. Away from the main house, it opens out onto a small orchard. This is a quiet oasis you can enjoy in between exploring all the Barossa has to offer. It has dining and sitting areas as well as a reading nook in the loft. It has a sofa which can open out for a child if necessary. Or we can set up another inflatable bed in the loft, accessed by a loft ladder.

WHISTLER VINEYARD RETREAT

Set on 80acres in the heart of the Barossa Valley this private, self-contained guest wing is surrounded by vineyard and gardens. Our retreat gets you back to nature... with vineyard and scrub walks, (accompanied by at least one of our Border Collies), friendly geese, an inquisitive free-roaming peacock, hens, rescued & wild kangaroos, the occasional Koala and a myriad of birdlife. Take in the views from the verandas, sit by the campfire (during the cooler months) or relax in the hammock.

Miriam's Cottage self contained Bed and Breakfast

This lovely 1920's cottage is located in a quiet tree lined street in the heart of Tanunda. Miriam's is a 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants such as Ferment Asian, 1918, Musque and cafe's. Also walking distance to Langmeil winery, Peter Lehmann, Z Wines etc Breakfast provisions are there for guests to either have a cooked breakfast of bacon, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms or continental breakfast. Included is also a cheese plate and bottle of wine. Firepit only supplied when seasonal.

The private two-acre property is home to some of the Barossa’s oldest dry-grown Grenache grapes and is located a short walk to cellar doors, restaurants, breweries and retail shopping in Tanunda. Embrace the quiet rural feel of native birdsong and scattered sheep across the way, all whilst being within a short stroll of the heart of Tanunda. It’s a great spot to discover the Barossa Valley and a lovely neighbourhood. I have so many great memories here, and I’m convinced that you will too.
