Our modern earth home is a cozy, craftsman-built nest that treats its visitors to light, open space & color. It has a quiet, private setting with everything needed to make your stay comfortable &, hopefully, inspired. The outdoors is this home's other half, creating an enveloping amphitheater of gardens, birds, trees & a hammock. Beyond this private nest are 360 degree views of the Sangre de Christo Mountains, the Rio Grande Gorge, spectacular sunset displays & miles of walking & bike trails.

The Clay Space

The Clay Space is a studio apartment that was once used as an Art Studio. It is located behind Taos Clay in an urban area in El Prado along the main highway, 5 minutes North of the Taos Plaza. Easy access to the River and The Taos Ski Valley, the Gorge Bridge and hiking. Ever been to Orlando's New Mexican Cafe? This space is just a few buildings North on the same side of the road. The Taos Clay building in front has renovation going on - the Rio Lucero Farm Store will be here in summer of 2026.

PERFECT SPOT FOR A GETAWAY! A no-smoking, one bedroom retreat-like unit has tons of character. Stroll to the Plaza and restaurants. Enjoy the private patio off the bedroom or the lovely courtyard with calming fountain and many benches. Ideal for reading, thinking or meditation. Many guests have been "working from home with a different view"! One family dog (under 25#) is OK – and you must inquire in advance. We are a collection of 8 sweet, unique Casitas set on a shady, serene acre on Brooks Street in the Historic District. Poppy is a Studio w/ its own entrance and is part of the building that houses our caretakers. It's a Victorian-style bedroom w/ private bath: perfect for the single traveler looking for value or as a romantic getaway for a couple. Poppy comes w/ a mini-fridge, a microwave, & coffee maker & a comfy queen . Because its 350 sq ft., we can host 2. Plus 1 small dog - for a fee.

Taos Earthship, 2 bdrm Virtual Hideaway!

This Earthship is great for experiencing a home that is quiet, serene, romantic, private, (one acre lot) surrounded by acres of sagebrush and chamisa. and is only 15 minutes from town. The inside is dark adobe with gold straw, with flagstone floors, and rustic Sycamore Oak beams. 3 kivas fireplaces too! It's been used as a recording studio too, If you like taking awesome photographs, this is THE place. Cozy, comforting! Pets are welcome and must be leashed! Cat box provided by request!

Casa Maravilla- Gorgeous, New & 5 min to Plaza

Casa Maravilla is a spacious 1 bedroom casita nestled in the heart of town. Walking distance to Historic Taos Plaza, but feels miles away from everything! A lush green property at the end of a country lane. Thoughtful interior. We have our calendar blocked from March 1-May 15th 2023. We are looking for the guest who wants an extended stay during that time for a very good discounted price. Please make an inquiry for all the details.

Of the many homes in Taos that visitors can choose from, very few can offer the old world charm and historic ambiance of this one. Built in the 1940's by Taos Pueblo workers contracted by artist Charles Reynolds, it is unique and very lovely.
