Recent Guest Let the kid in you come to play in this real treehouse held up by four trees, 18 feet off the ground. Zip line down or take a giant soaking tub. A magical stroll through the woods leads to the suspension bridge. You won't believe you're only minutes from town. Wear appropriate shoes as it is a short 2-minute hike to the tree house. At times, it can get a little slick.

Cabin 43 on the White Salmon River

Cabin 43 is a new home we built ourselves located right on the wild and scenic White Salmon river. We finished this project (June, 2020) and are excited to share this beautiful place with guests. It features a King bed in 1 room and 2 twin beds in the 2nd bedroom which can be pushed together to make a 2nd king bed. We live in a cluster of 8 other cabins down gravel road in a very serene forest setting with a large field out front and private river side walking trails.

River’s Rest..only 45 minutes from PDX, and Multnomah Falls, gateway to the Columbia Gorge. Hiking just minutes away. Huge fire-pit and covered porch over-looking the river. Walking down the path from the parking area you will see the confluence of Canyon Creek and the Washougal River and cabin nestled amongst cedar trees where you will be staying. The cabin was originally built in the 1920's as a vacation home for a predominate Portland Judge. A century later and the spirit of this escape is alive and well with a full remodel providing modern amenities in a beautiful and rustic setting.

Enjoy our beautiful cozy cabin that is heated exclusively by a wood stove, on the edge of a magical old growth cedar forest on our 11 acre farm and vineyard. Relax on the deck built into the trees, and sleep peacefully in the loft bed, as you soak in the nature around you. The cute out house is just down the path and the cedar hot tub/ outdoor shower is next to the garden.
