Stone Cottage in Grounds of a 16th-Century Castle

The cottage sits on the grounds of a castle dating back to 1543 offering an authentic stay. The interior retains a decor that matches the historic charm of the area with modern comforts added and a shared pool in the stunning gardens outside. This is our smallest cottage and cannot take an additional bed or cot. The other cottages are all larger and can do this. All 3 cottages can be rented separately or together. They are in the grounds of a 16th century castle with beautiful gardens and large swimming pool enclosed by stone walls. The lower salon and summer kitchen in the main chateau is available to share. Access is by the side garden gate and all cottages are accessed by stone steps- sadly not suitable for wheelchairs. We will most likely be present living in the main Chateau and available to help and advise about restaurants and things to do in the area. We will share the pool and gardens. The old village is in a beautiful part of France that is has retained its iconic beauty through the centuries and still feels untouched by modern life in many places. Experience true local dining and bakeries with scenic walking trails all around. parking is in the church square below the Chateau. There is a local taxi service in the village and bus service to Avignon, Banyols sur Ceze and Uzes but car hire is recommended. We are 20 minutes from Avignon TGV rail station and about an hour from Marseille, Nimes or Montpellier airports. The cottages are completely private and tranquil.

Les Vans, loft ravissant, chaleureux et lumineux

Détendez-vous dans ce loft unique, chaleureux et lumineux qui se trouve dans le centre historique de Les Vans. Se lover dans la mezzanine, douillet et cosy... Spots de baignade à proximité (Chassezac, Ardèche, Cèze, Thines). Le Parc naturel des Monts d'Ardèche, en bordure des Cévennes, entre Ardèche et Provence. Très bien situé pour faire des activités dans les environs ( Nombreuses randonnées pédestres, pour tous niveaux, escalade, canoë, canyoning,  parapente, via ferrata). NB voir mon guide

Hortense, grange 2/4 pers à « ÔRacines du Calme »

Cette ancienne grange datant du XV ème siècle fut une magnanerie! D'une superficie de 75 mètres carrés, elle est composée d'une grande pièce à vivre avec cuisine ouverte, coin salon avec canapé lit, poêle à bois..., et à l'étage une grande chambre avec salle de bain. Petit canapé lit d'appoint dans la chambre si besoin Ayant vue sur les jardins et la piscine, vous avez directement accès à l'esplanade du tilleul pour déjeuner dehors, et au reste des jardins, avec accès direct à la forêt .

6 Personnes maximum par séjour. ( fêtes interdîtes ) Maison tranquille, située à 800 m du village de Saint Jean de Maruéjols où vous avez tout à portée de main, (restaurant, producteurs locaux aux alentours, boucherie artisanale, charcuterie artisanale, boulangerie artisanale, épicerie, etc...). Il y a plein de choses à découvrir avec les différentes saisons. Il y a plein d'endroits à visiter (village qui est à 15 minutes de l'Ardèche) Beaucoup de belles rivières à quelques kilomètres.

The cottage is located between two hamlets on the edge of a small lake, ten minutes walk from the Chassezac river and the Bois de Païolive, the starting point for many hikes, mountain biking trails, canoeing down the Chassezac gorges possible. , numerous cliffs equipped for sport climbing within a radius of one kilometer.

Gite du Moulin

Au calme, dans un ancien moulin typique restauré situé en pleine nature au bord du ruisseau sans aucun vis à vis, au pied des CEVENNES. Une partie de la bâtisse est aménagée en un gite spacieux et frais de 110m² pour 6/7 personnes. Au rez de chaussée vous avez le salon, la salle à manger/cuisine. A l'étage, les trois chambres et une mezzanine, la salle de bain, WC. Le moulin est à 600m de Banne. A cinq minutes en voiture vous avez plusieurs magasins.
