From the photos in the hallway and the garden decorations to the modern balcony facing (and only literally a few steps away from!) Camber Sands’ famous dunes, this property is perfect for those who love the beach and sea. If you hate sand this is not the property for you-a real beach experience.

The recently refurbished mews house is set within a private courtyard and has all that you could wish for - for either short or long stay. There are many shops restaurants and cafes within a short walk of the property and the newly rebuilt pier is a 20 minute stroll along the seafront. A further 10 minutes walk and you will be in the historic old town of Hastings.

When we are away for the weekend/holiday we rent our home on Airbnb for others to enjoy. You have access to 3 floors – two lovely bedrooms, comfy king beds, cotton linen, towels, big window and high ceilings; 1 bathroom, with bath & strong shower & natural toiletries; living /dining room, with big TV and fireplace; bright kitchen and patio & garden. Free parking on the road; 10-minute walk to beach, 5 to the train! The Old Town and St Leonard's are all walkable.

Old Town Cottage - cosy hideaway with patio garden

Set in the delightful Old Town area of Eastbourne, close to Motcombe Gardens, this sweet cottage is a great holiday bolthole. Old Town Cottage is on a peaceful street that isn't a through road (so minimal traffic noise) and has a lovely rear patio garden, complete with outdoor dining set. One of the bedrooms is a kingsize, and the other has a small double bed - so this property can sleep up to three adults, or two adults and two small children.
