Many historical Villages nearby including Mayfield and Burwash. My large garden is full of wild life with two resident badger sets. White Deer are frequent visitors and can often be seen at dawn and dusk from the terrace. Foxes and family of Hare. More recently, we have two families of the protected Hedge Hogs.

In an ideal location overlooking a large duck pond and with distant views to the South Downs. It is a great base for walking the Wealdway or cycling the Cuckoo Trail. Places to explore include Lewes and Eastbourne, 9 miles. Glyndebourne 6 miles. An excellent pub and restaurant is within a ten minute walk along country footpaths. The village shop 2 miles.

It is adjacent to, but detached from the main house Fairstowe and is ideally suited for family occupancy or a couple. Guests have the freedom of having sole occupancy. A 2nd bedroom can be created by closing a multifold door where a single regular bed is provided for one guest and a single fold-out bed is available for a second.

Beautiful barn, perfect for walkers, also great as a comfortable and spacious base for exploring the local countryside. Local cultural attractions include Glyndebourne, Drusilla's Park, South Downs Way. This spacious artist's home is located right on the South Downs Way, and it is only about an hour and a half walk to the coast at Exceat. There is a tree house for kids, a couple of swing seats for chilling out on, and the Cuckmere runs through the bottom of the garden.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway on a country lane in the beautiful Spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells. Located just steps from the Tunbridge Wells circular walk and the outstanding Dunorlan Park with stunning gardens and boating lake. It is surrounded by the lovely Kent countryside where you can ramble and refresh yourselves by perhaps ending the day in one of the great pubs cosy by a log fire in Winter or in Summer in an English garden. Guests have said how hard it is to tear themselves away, it truly is a treasure to find.
