At SCH our guests have exclusive access to our 16000 square foot Clubhouse offering complimentary daily continental breakfast and shared coworking spaces equipped with all the essentials you will need for on-the-road productivity. Our Clubhouse access includes state-of-the-art fitness center - resort style pool - game room - spa area with steam and sauna as well as a massage room. Three Bedroom House: Built in 1890, this Victorian-esque home provides guests a delicious blend of history, elegance, and modern day luxury. The 1890 Caroline House is conveniently located in the heart of Historic Fredericksburg, Virginia just a block from the train station servicing Amtrak and VRE to Washington and Richmond. Experience a taste of history in Old Town or visit our local historic battlefields and then relax in our parlor or one of our beautiful guest rooms, all of which include a Jacuzzi. A perfect getaway for a vacation, business retreat, small group meetings, friends gathering, or an intimate wedding. Max of 6 people. Breakfast will be an additional $20.00 per person. It's also a short walk to The College of William & Mary and the Williamsburg Train Station. Leave your car in our free private parking lot and enjoy the short stroll to the heart of Williamsburg.

The Verde Suite at 249, Culpeper Downtown

A guest favorite—the Verde suite boasts a king bed with Italian linens, comfy robes, gas fireplace, balcony, large private ensuite with STEAM SHOWER, double vanity and more! This bright, cheery room overlooks the shops on Davis street and invites you to savor the views from its multiple windows. You can certainly see and feel the charm of the small town emanate from below. The Verde is located on the second floor of the hotel. No elevators. Must walk one flight of stairs to access room.

Walled by the original granite foundation dating to 1792, The Hearth Room is Strawberry Hill’s cozy and inviting basement room. Accessible by a private entrance on the west side of the building, this is the only pet-friendly room at Strawberry Hill. Featuring a full-sized brass bed, a 50” smart TV, and antique furnishings, your stay promises to be comfy and memorable.

Our Garden Rooms are located in either one of the two original carriage house buildings founded here in the late 1800's. They feature two queen size beds or a single queen size bed. All garden rooms are decorated in a light and airy color scheme and are cozy and intimate enclaves with recently renovated spa-style granite bathrooms.
