Chameleon: 2 room cabin, NO running water and no toilet facilities in the casita, sleeps 4, 5 max. 2 double beds in the bedroom, & daybed for an extra person. Cooking Hot plate & electric appliances. Open deck on the Pecos River w/outdoor fireplace unless Fireban in place. Community bathhouse with toilets & showers, 300 feet from Chameleon. Other rentals on property, another rustic casita is in close proximity. Pergola screen is up. Road noise is heard, especially during peak travel times.

La Bonita Ermita is a small hermitage style home on a hillside with amazing views of the sunrise, sunset and Pecos Valley. The home was carved into the hillside with 4 terraced levels and is a stone's throw from Our Lady of Guadalupe Monastery. Literally boarding 10s of thousands of acres of the Sante Fe National Forest behind a private gate. A must stop if you are driving thru Pecos either on the Sante Fe trail or Historic Route 66. Immersed in nature and yet only 25 minutes to Sante Fe.

Five miles east is the village of Pecos with the Pecos River for fishing, hiking, and exploring. Sixteen miles north is the legendary city of Santa Fe packed with world-class art and culture

The Hamilton: A Lux 1920s Train Car Near Santa Fe

The Hamilton is a 1920s Pullman train car located in the historic village of Lamy, NM in it's own tree lined park next to the Lamy Train Station where Amtrak stops twice daily. The Hamilton is a 2 min walk to the soon to be opened El Ortiz Cafe, Nuckolls Beer Garden and The Legal Tender Restaurant. Santa Fe is 25 minutes away with nearby access to many US Forest areas, the Pecos National Monument, the Village of Pecos, and the Pecos River. The water is chemical free! The large acreage here is also used for tent camping in the summer months near the little lake and RV Sites are scattered with one being beside this house.
