We are a 20-25 min walk (5 min drive) to Cambridge town. Cambridge is the jewel of the Waikato and has a wonderful high street of shops, cafes and restaurants. Come explore or rest!

Punga Lodge is 20 mins SE of Cambridge 10 mins from Lake Karapiro, hosting everything from Rowing World Cups to Hydroplane racing, waterski comps and triathalons. It is 20 mins away from Hobbiton and the entrance to MEI Sanctuary. Being 1 hr drive from Raglan, Mt Maunganui, Taupo and Rotorua. We aim to provide clean and comfortable indoor outdoor living while enjoying beautiful views, peace and tranquility whilst relaxing in your own mountain hideaway with amazing stargazing opportunities.

Welcome to Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari! Located on the side of our visitor centre sits a spacious two-bedroom home. It is a relaxing and comfortable place to unwind, with stunning views and amazing walking trails right at your door. We are New Zealand's largest fenced eco-sanctuary, home to 2,500 kiwi which you should be able to hear at night. Your accommodation includes free access for self-guided walks through the Southern Enclosure, or book a tour to get truly immersed in nature.

The Shepherd's Hut

Take a breath of fresh air at our peaceful and rustic country getaway. At our stunning Maungatautari hut, you'll feel a million miles away from anywhere, while being only minutes from local international sporting venues, Takapoto Estate and Karapiro Domain. Only 20mins drive from Cambridge. Our delightful cabin offers the best of country life with your very own private deck, hot tub and Queen-sized bed. Country Stay with Mount Kakepuku Views

Breathe the fresh country air at this contemporary architecture retreat. On the outside, the home features a sleek industrial aesthetic and a private outdoor bath, while the inside bursts with a boutique design style, neutral greys, and wood accents. The country stay is located down a typical New Zealand country road. Surrounded by dairy farms and kiwi fruit orchards, guests may see farmers about their daily work. Feel free to wave out to them if they drive past in their tractors.

Irene's Country Retreat- near ( Waitomo Caves)

Relax and unwind to the sound of birds in the trees, sheep moving through the paddocks and a little family of Quails strolling by every now and again while breathing in the fresh country air. We are located 11 minutes to Otorohanga where you will find numerous Cafes, Restaurants and eating places. Also the Kiwi House is worth a look along with the Sir Edmund Hilary walkway. Waitomo Glow Worm Caves, Black Water Rafting and the Ruakuri Bush Walk is a short 20 minute drive away.

Free Range Farmstay

Enjoy a peaceful private apartment (main bedroom, ensuite & kitchenette). 2nd bedroom available which sleeps 3 (internal staircase to our private residence between bedrooms). Surrounded by farmland on the main tourist route between Waitomo/Hobbiton/Rotorua/Karapiro/Cambridge. We live downstairs with our 3 children, cat & dog. You are welcome to use our swimming pool, spa (hot tub), tennis court & BBQ area (with fire pit). Perfect accommodation for singles, couples or families!

Fully self contained guest unit with kitchenette and ensuite. Quiet rural setting, very private. Located on a side road off the main road from Te Awamutu through to Rotorua and Taupo. Waitomo caves 43km's Arapuni 28km's River walks and Maungatautari hiking within 20km's A great stopover between Auckland, Rotorua, Taupo, Tauranga, Hobbiton, Waitomo, Waihou river (Blue Spring) and National Park - Mt Doom, Tongariro crossing, Ohakune and Ruapehu ski fields.

Cambridge Chalet

Lovely comfortable self-contained cabin for two adults. It is situated 10 minutes from Lake Karapiro, and Cambridge. The Velodrome, Hamilton Airport and Mystery Creek are 15 minutes away. Relaxing setting in gardens in a quiet neighbourhood. The kitchenette comes with a kettle, microwave, and toaster but no hob, stove, or oven. Please note that as the Chalet is in a residential neighbourhood, all additional visitors must leave by 10:00pm.

Cosy, completely self contained bed & breakfast accommodation nestled in a peaceful garden setting, just 5 minutes drive from Cambridge town centre.
