This ground floor, one bedroom apartment features a kitchen, separate entrance, and driveway with parking for 1 vehicle. Small two piece bathroom and small shower (similar in size to what you would find in a camping trailer) as well, all within the unit. Couch in living room also pulls out for an extra sleeping space. She is unadorned, a simple off-grid shelter for your wilderness retreat. Configured equally for a large party of family/friends, or for a couple's weekend away (groups over 4 are charged more) Outside is a growing network of trails, winding along Rockingham Creek and surrounding hills, with views of our hobby farm and spectacular waterfalls.

Rose Door Cottage

Quaint and cozy 1 bedroom cottage tucked along the southeastern shore of a small, quiet lake. Recently renovated, the cottage is the perfect romantic getaway. It's located 1 km from snowmobile/ATV trails, 15 minutes from Bancroft and 45 minutes from Algonquin Park. The cottage includes a floating dock with swim ladder, bbq, woodburning outdoor firepit, canoe, kayaks, woodburning indoor fireplace, smart tv with starlink satellite.

1800s Timber Trail Lodge

Former Algonquin Park post office transferred to this property in 1970 and made into a beautiful cottage. - 15 min away from Bancroft - several beaches around the area - 40 min walking trail on the property - small pond on the property - 2 double beds, 1 twin bed & 1 pull out couch - open concept, loft style. First floor is kitchen and living room area, second floor bedroom and washroom - snow mobile and four wheeler trails near by

The Guest House

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.

This cabin can sleep up to five people (twin, double, and loft has a queen) Includes small kitchen unit with mini-fridge, sink (no running water but jug of water provided) and double burner stove. The kitchen accessories seen in the photos are what is provided. We ask that you not bring your own dish soap, to protect our ecosystem we will provide it. BEDDING IS NOT PROVIDED PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PILLOWS AND BLANKETS.
