The Studio at Woodfort Estate

Our studio is perfectly placed for stunning views of our mountain and rolling hill landscapes. A weekend get away or longer retreat will be rewarded with privacy and peace to relax inside or on the spacious patio that captures amazing afternoon sunshine and sun sets! The main bedroom is detached from the living and kitchen, which has a fold out couch for extra guests. Relax in the outdoor bath and enjoy the simplicity of living off grid without lacking to many home comforts. Toilet is detached.

Newstead Nature Retreat

This is a quintessential kiwi cottage nestled amongst native New Zealand bush. Ruru cottage is perfect for a unique & relaxing weekend getaway or a week-long trip, and is pet friendly. The cottage is a cosy, peaceful rural stay with everything you need plus native birdsong morning and night. In addition to the stunning outdoor bath and large timber deck, the space has artsy, quirky furnishings that make for a very special stay. The open plan lounge has an additional queen fold out sofa bed.

Securely set behind electronic gates in a prime River Rd location, no stone has been left unturned with this stylish renovation. An emphasis was placed on entertaining, and the outdoor living is simply superb enhanced with a gas fireplace, outdoor tv and soothing fish pond. Very sunny with all the creature comforts including Spa, central ducted air-con and double glazing. Extensively landscaped. Fully functional home with all the necessities to enjoy a staycation - you’ll feel right at home!

Tucked into our established back garden, you can enjoy a beautiful quiet private TINY home hideaway with easy entry and off-street parking. Perfect for professionals/couples (no children sorry) wanting to explore Cambridge, or make a base for day trips to all the surrounding areas – beaches, tourist attractions, cycling and more. We are a 20-25 min walk (5 min drive) to Cambridge town. Cambridge is the jewel of the Waikato and has a wonderful high street of shops, cafes and restaurants.

The Container Ship

The Container Ship is New Zealand’s first and only fully restored Container Airship. It appeared in 2021 tethered above our sheep paddock, on our small lifestyle block located right on the southern boundary of Hamilton. The origin of the ship is believed to be from an unknown multi-verse.
