Casa Luminosa in the Old Jewish Quarter of Ortigia

The house is in a friendly neighbourhood where you will find a great assortment of bars and restaurants in close proximity to the house. That said, the house is located in a small cul-de-sac, away from the hustle and bustle of Ortigia. It is on two floors with a spacious terrace, ideal for al fresco dining. On the first floor is a bedroom with a bed that can either be a king-size or two single beds. Please let us know in advance what your preference is so that we can organise the beds according to your needs. The first floor bedroom also has a small balcony and private en suite. Upstairs includes an open plan kitchen diner with a beautiful terrace, which then flows through to a comfortable living space/double bedroom with small balcony and walk in closet. This floor also includes the main bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with an induction hob and electric oven, a dishwasher, washing machine fridge and freezer. There is also an espresso machine, for that critical morning energy boost. The terrace is equipped with table and chairs that can be folded away, should you wish to use the space to soak up the rays instead, for your convenience there is a remote control canopy for shade. We have a small but growing collection of books on all things Sicilian. Amongst the books are guidebooks to Sicily including a book with hiking tours of the island. Please feel free to enjoy the books, but please do not take them with you. There is high speed internet in the house and SMART TV, linked to satellite TV as well as the internet. The house has air-conditioning, as well as heating in the winter. The staircase that leads to the first and second floors may prove challenging for people with mobility issues. The open staircase also means that the house is not suitable for smaller children. The entire house is there for you. We will personally deal with all the booking details. We have a local agent, Enrico, who will be on hand when you arrive to show you the house and hand over the keys. He will also be on call if there are any problems during your stay, additionally, we will be able to provide you with any further guidance to ensure you have a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The house is on a peaceful cul-de-sac in the in the old Jewish quarter of Ortigia, Guidecca. Its location makes it ideal for exploring Ortigia, Siracusa, and the surrounding area. It's close to an incredible food market for culinary adventures. There are a number of excellent restaurants and cosy bars in the neighbourhood (see the guide). If there are more than four of you traveling to Ortigia, there is a very nice boutique hotel next door that may be able to accommodate any additional guests. Enrico, our manager, can organise pick up in a taxi from Catania airport to the house. If you choose to rent a car, there is no parking space at the house, but there are car parks at the entrance to the island. We can provide details of these. There are also buses from the airport to Ortigia. We will provide you with a map once you have booked our house, showing you how to find it and also where to park. We are passionate about Sicily and Ortigia and are more than happy to recommend things to see and do, including favourite restaurants and bars, beaches, and day trips to the nearby towns (Noto, Modica, Ragusa etc.), so that you can come to enjoy Ortigia as much as we do. If there are more than four of you traveling to Ortigia, there is a very nice boutique hotel next door that may be able to accommodate any additional guests.

Antica Villa del 1908, costruita per diventare una fabbrica di essenze di limoni e arance,che crescevano nel vasto agrumeto di proprietà della villa. Successivamente ristrutturata, la villa, è stata suddivisa in due case di 110 mq l’una. È infatti possibile prenotare entrambe le case che possono ospitare fino a 8/9 persone. Vi è un’intima corte interna e un ampio giardino esterno tutto a disposizione degli ospiti. Le due ville si presentano con uno stile differente, vi è una villa in stile moderno e una in stile classico. La prima , che può ospitare fino a 4 persone , è caratterizzata da uno stile moderno, con muri in pietra viva a vista e capriate lignee , e da una stupenda e calorosa zona living, che comprende una cucina moderna, con una penisola per le colazioni, tv da 55 pollici, ampio divano relax con penisola, un grande tavolo per i pranzi e le cene e piccoli dettagli di design. Due camere da letto, una stanza matrimoniale con bagno in camera, dotata di condizionatore ,e una mansardina con affaccio sulla zona living. Vi sono quindi due bagni dotati di tutti i confort possibili. L’altra villa, più classica e intima è caratterizzata da uno stile antico, anch’essa con muri in pietra viva e capriate lignee. Vi è un imponente camino , che è il cuore della zona living. Un’intima cucina per le colazioni e gli aperitivi e un grande tavolo per i pranzi e le cene. Anche questa villa dispone di due stanze da letto , una matrimoniale con bagno in camera , dove è presente l’aria condizionata, e l’altra una mansardina con affaccio sulla zona living, dotata del refrigeratore Polifemo Ion. Vi sono quindi due bagni dotati di tutti i confort possibili.

The house is build from an ancient cave, behind Santa Maria La Nova main church. Terrazzino, living con divano, cucina a vista e tavolo da pranzo. Due camere da letto, una con un grande letto(tatami con futon) e vista stupenda, l'altra più piccola (tatami con futon)e una finestra alta. Due bagni con spaziose docce. A' naca is an old renovated house with a courtyard full of plants overlooking Ibla. The whole apartment on the fresh ground floor is for our guests only, there is a private entrance, a living room with library, sofa and courtyard view, a fully equipped kitchen, a private bathroom, a spacious room with a double bed and two single beds and the and a beautiful single room with a view over Ibla. Stargazers can sleep in the hammock out in the courtyard and, if you are lucky, hear the owls' calls.

San Guglielmo

The house is in San Guglielmo behind Santa Maria la Nova Church, is the old part of town. Is a beautiful and quiet location. The house is made in a traditional way with wood and stone floor and thick walls, there is also a terrace in one side where is possible to have dinner or drinks looking at the Padre Pio square and enjoy the night breeze. Is possible to reach Scicli with a bus from Catania airport or Comiso, although having your own car to visit the neighboring area is recome

Tancredi's home is located on the sand, 150 m from the sea, in front of the house only pine trees and dunes. It is very isolated.The property is 2300 square meters and extends to the sea. Access to the beach is direct and private. The bedsea is low for many meters and very hot. It is a place full of perfumes, of magic, of suggestion. 27 km from the Baroque of Noto, 13 km from the seaside village of Marzamemi, 14 km from Portopalo di Capo Passero.
