Away from the hustle bustle, enjoy this quiet serene spot. The property is well off the highway and the neighbouring orchards screen us from traffic noise. The cottage is nestled between small avocado and mixed fruit orchards, with a view out to the small pond and post’n’rail fenced paddocks beyond. Last minute bookings are usually no problem - we respond quickly. Relax with the family (with up to 3 children) in this organic permaculture lifestyle block with animals that love being fed.

There are 3 outdoor seating areas- one has large outdoor table (seats 9) perfect for BBQ and eating outdoors. The pool is just over 1 metre deep which means children over 6 years can stand in pool. We are only 75mins drive north of Auckland, 10 mins off the number one highway. The cottage is built from beautiful untreated hardwoods set in a tranquil private spot, nestled on the edge of a regenerating native forest. The cottage is only a 2min walk down to the beautiful Kaipara Harbour. Our place is part of a 25 year old 300 acre organic permaculture farm, which we were instrumental in setting up as a working farm and village style subdivision.

Our home is perfectly set up for families. 2 bedrooms have king beds, 1 bedroom has bunks (Queen below & single above) & 1 rumpus (converted garage) has bunks (2 x single). Our home is modern, compact and functional. Dogs allowed with prior approval- pet bond required. 1 dog max.
