Come and enjoy your stay at the Historic Lakewood Park. We have ten cabins open year-round for rental at the property. Each offers an enjoyable experience on our 63-acre and 10-acre lake. Amenities include single-room cabins with fireplace, kitchenette, queen bed, couch (folds to a bed), private bathroom with 5' tiled shower, wifi, cable TV, lake fishing, hiking, outdoor firepit, grill, and more. Stay among Jim Thorpe's restaurants, bars & entertainment such as Molly Maguires, Broadway Pub, Moya, Mauch Chunk Opera House & the D&L Trail. Rent a bike, wander the historical sites, shop, or ride the train without moving your car! Apt has garage parking! The garage is small so large vehicles/trucks will not fit.

Enjoy our cozy two bedroom rustic cabin that sits a few feet from a flowing creek, and a relaxing pond. The cabin was originally built as a one room hunting cabin with knotty pine walls, wood ceiling and large stone fireplace. The addition of 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and laundry converted the cabin into a comfortable home, while maintaining the original charm and character. The original hunting cabin space is now the great room, with the kitchen on one side and the family room on the other.

The cabin is a peaceful and serene escape, yet just a short walk away from all the attractions. The cabin is 475 square feet with a living room, kitchenette, dining area and bathroom on the ground floor. The bedroom/loft is upstairs. ***The cabin is very close to the main house and shares a backyard (nothing else is shared). The backyard is yours, including propane BBQ, outdoor fireplace, tables and chairs. You can listen to music, talk and have fun outside as late as you like.
