Farm Stay at Panther Branch with Sauna

Take it easy at our beautiful cabin in Hot Springs, NC surrounded by nature and farm animals. Panther Branch Farm spans 30 acres of mountains, streams, waterfalls, and hiking trails. On our small farm we have chickens, bees, goats, and alpacas that love to be hand-fed. Originally a pole barn workshop, the cabin has been expanded into a peaceful retreat built with local lumber. Unwind in our outdoor spa with sauna and a spring bath or simply relax and take in the serenity of the National Forest.

The Doe Branch Cabin - Modern Mountain Retreat

Sense of Place. That is the inspiration here, at least in part. The cabin is situated on 12 private acres in a remote corner of Madison County, surrounded by national forest, streams, and clear mountain air. The property has a history of artist residents, and we encourage creatives of all types to come seek the inspiration found by those that came before. The town of Marshall, an artistic enclave, is 25-30 minutes away, and downtown Asheville is a 45-50 minute drive. Hiking and rafting nearby.

The Nest is tucked into a grove of hemlocks, high above the creek and valley below. All types of vehicles have made the trek up the driveway, but we recommend 4-wheel drive. The seclusion of The Nest is unmatched and this tiny modern marvel comes with all you ask for, and so much more. Less than 25 min to downtown Asheville and minutes from the quaint mountain towns of Marshall and Mars Hill. Enjoy activities like hiking, skiing, and zip lines. With 3 comfy beds don't forget your friends! Enjoy your morning cup of tea or coffee on the porch while gazing into the canopy of trees and listening to the array of bird songs which are sure to impress even a non-camper! This glamorous campsite is doused with personal touches you're sure to love as much as we do!

This cozy cabin is a mountaintop retreat with beautiful views of local valleys and mountain ranges. It accommodates up to 4 guests. On our 10' x 40" deck, you can enjoy the sunrise with coffee in a rocking chair, relax in the afternoon, cookout in the evening, and gaze at the stars from the hot tub after a day of hiking on the many nearby trails, including the Appalachian Trail.
