Traditional stone and slate fisherman's cottage built c.1850, tucked away in the heart of this beautiful costal village on the edge of Exmoor National Park. A stone's throw from the sea. Tastefully updated with a new bathroom, modern well-equipped kitchen and underfloor heating, while retaining the cosy feel of log burning stoves. We are lucky to have a beautiful private walled garden with bbq patio area, and all the necessary equipment for outside entertaining.
A second floor apartment with views over the river to the sea. Clifton House is nestled in the heart of Lynmouth and is steeped in history, as the local Post Office it played a central part in the Louisa Lifeboat Overland Launch in 1899 and also the devastating flood of 1952. The doorway of Crocombe's shop, underneath Clifton House, has a plaque showing the height the flood waters reached.
I have recently fitted out the shepherds hut to create a warm comfortable & relaxing space to unwind & get away from the hustle & bustle of modern life, while still having the convienience of electricity, full size double bed, log burner & kitchen area. There is a newly renovated private toilet/shower room in an adjacent barn. The shepherds hut is set on our small holding, in its own garden with table chairs bbq/fire pit, private parking & separate entrance.
