Our Cabin in the Trees

Rural location in Tappen. Our 400 sq ft one bedroom suite is equipped with a full kitchen, living space and a bathroom with a shower. Whether you are looking for a weekend escape, attending a local event, or in transit between Vancouver and Calgary, you will enjoy the peace and quiet of our surroundings. We have a second unit on the ground floor of our house called The Sunset Studio. If you are traveling with someone else and they would like their own space, check its availability calendar.

A Suite Above

"A Suite Above" is a gateway to adventure suitable for all seasons. You can enjoy a view of Shuswap Lake on your private deck with the natural gas barbecue - you’ll never run out of gas! The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, utensils, glasses, mugs, coffee maker, kettle and other amenities that will allow you to have a meal on the deck or at the dining table in the suite. The suite is air conditioned and the living area has a cozy natural gas fireplace for those cooler days and nights.

Authentic Finnish Log Cabin on Lakefront property at White Lake. Space for an RV is available. This small log cabin is perfect if you want a simple comfortable place to relax close to the lake. Not a glossy hotel, more upscale rustic. Relax around a campfire, enjoy beautiful sunsets from the dock a short walk from the cabin, rent the wood heated sauna, go for a hike or go fishing. We are on the quiet side of the lake and this is the only rental on the property. We live here year-round.

Julia’s Suite features a full kitchen. An adjoining (Buds Lounge Suite) can also be rented for up to four additional guests. Holmwood Farm is a very scenic property with great views and lots of hiking and x country ski trails. It is home to a small flock of sheep, and cows which are grazed regeneratively. . You will have access to fresh vegetables from our garden in the summer months , and free range eggs, pastured meats and locally sourced gifts from our farm store.

Located between Salmon Arm and Enderby our modern yet cozy Post and Beam Suite is the perfect getaway. Surrounded by nature you can relax and recharge. Enjoy the outdoors with lots of things to do in the area and visit our farm animals. Our 600 sf open concept furnished studio has large panorama windows, and a well equipped kitchenette so you can prepare your own meals. We also offer complementary coffee and tea. It is great for families, solo travellers and couples.

Located only 10 minutes off the Trans-Canada Highway and 20 minutes from Crowfoot mountain. Our semi waterfront loft has many characteristics and charm and is in a prime location on Shuswap lake. Whether it’s your home on the way or a longer stay, you will enjoy your time here. Our little cabin has been recently fully renovated and is very clean. It is situated just 5 minute drive to Sunnybrae beach, 10 minutes to Blind Bay and Salmon Arm is just 15 minutes away. The yard shares a fence with horses, sheep and entertaining goats. We welcome well behaved dogs in the cabin, please let us know if you will be bringing one.

Outdoor cedar sauna just steps away from your accommodations. Property is private and backs onto crown land. Access hiking, mountain biking and quad trails directly from property. Two minutes from White Lake. Ten minutes from Shuswap Lake.
