Mas Costa

Surrounded by forested hills and fields, this is a perfect location for anyone who loves nature and tranquility. The area is famous for its bike paths, numerous hiking trails, birdwatching and historical landmarks. We also live on the property, in the small detached house. The surrounding area is shared with our family as we attend our vegetable gardens and care for the animals. Parties and events with loud music and excessive alcohol are strictly forbidden, as it is not suited or acceptable.

Nestled on the south slope of the Pic du Canigou, Mas Lou Poun is an ancient stone Catalan farmhouse. The ancient Bergerie, is situated away from the main house and has been recently renovated to luxury specs. Fall asleep to the sound of the river and wake to gentle birdsongs in the forest and meadow. It is surrounded by 9 hectares (25 acres) of private forests, rivers, canyons and numerous walking routes. The Bergerie has access to a natural pool fed by continuously flowing spring water.

Wildlife is omnipresent and easy to observe. Numerous hiking or mountain biking trails start directly from the house. Our hamlet enjoys a Mediterranean climate and is located 40 minutes from the ski slopes and one hour from the sea.

In the Ripollès region, between rivers, valleys and mountains, the ancient Castle of Llaés (10th century) stands splendidly. A unique place, of exceptional beauty, where absolute tranquility reigns in the middle of an exuberant nature. The Castle has been fully renovated for the comfort required by the facilities for rural tourism, with 8 rooms, 5 with a double bed, and 3 with two single beds. It has a living room, dining room, kitchen, 4 bathrooms, garden and terrace.

Hemos restaurado la casa respetando su esencia para crear un espacio cálido, cómodo y con mucho carácter. Un lugar especial para desconectar, caminar y disfrutar de la tranquilidad del Ripollès.

Nous vivons et travaillons sur place, vous pourrez donc profiter du verger, du potager, des poules et autres animaux. Un cadre aussi somptueux se mérite, le mas se situe à 7 kms de Prats-de-Mollo, et est accessible par une petite route sinueuse et étroite, mais sans danger.
