Chiltern Barn at Wheeler End, Buckinghamshire

Chiltern Barn is a 230 year old converted hay barn in Wheeler End in Buckinghamshire - half way between London and Oxford, close to Marlow and Henley-on-Thames with easy access to the M40. Wheeler End is a small village in The Chilterns built around a large common. There is a friendly local pub, The Chequers and Lane End, less than mile away has local amenities, including a well stocked Londis, a newsagents, excellent farm shop, gastro-pub, Indian and Chinese takeaways, hair dressers etc.

We are right on the edge of the beautiful village of Cookham. The accommodation is annexed to the main house and is accessed through a secured side-gate for total privacy. There is also free private parking on the front drive. The room is ideal for people who need to commute (1 hour by train to London, 25 minutes drive to Heathrow), or families who need to have additional accommodation for their loved ones to stay in the area. Accessed via a private pathway you enter your enclosed garden area, secure for dogs, with lawn, good sized decking with patio furniture. Based in the heart of the beautiful village of Waltham St Lawrence, The Cabin is a stones throw from the village pub and church. You are spoilt for choice for local walks and bike rides. Well worth a visit to this idyllic part of the country.

Tucked away, guests will have full privacy during their stay. Whilst the accommodation is attached to our family home, it is separate and self-contained. I will meet and greet then leave you to it! Parking for one car on site and on road parking nearby.

Train links to Henley, Reading & London. 5 mins to River Thames

Quiet location in countryside. Ample secure parking. Fitted kitchen. Shower room. Internet, Netflix, Prime etc. on TV. Underfloor heating throughout the cottage. Kitchen is fully supplied with utensils if you wish to cook. You will be provided with fresh milk, coffee, tea, croissants and cereals. The shower room will have shampoo, shower gel and soap. Parking. 5-8 min walk to bus stop which is on direct route to Reading Train Station and Town Centre. Local shops and pub 15 min walk. Henley town centre is 6.5 miles away and via bus, (bus stop is 5 minute walk from studio) takes 20-25mins.
