The property's highlight is its prime lakefront location, offering breathtaking views and a tranquil atmosphere.Start your day by sipping your morning coffee on the patio, overlooking the shimmering lake. The serene ambiance and stunning scenery will make you feel instantly relaxed. In the evening, enjoy a glass of wine as you watch the vibrant sunset paint the sky.

Dogwood Cabin on Scenic Wooded Mossbridge Farm

Our two cabins Dogwood and Holly are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. We have provided a nature trail for bird watching and exercise. Recently we designed and constructed a beautiful pond with three waterfalls and a deck overhanging the water with chairs for enjoying our private paradise.

Enjoy the sounds of nature at this peaceful, lakefront refuge. Gorgeous sunsets, rolling hills and abundant wildlife will leave you feeling rested and refreshed. We have a canoe, paddleboat, kayaks, corn hole, & a 122’ fishing pier. Coffee, tea & bathroom vanity kits are provided. There is a clubhouse & 4 other cabins available for rent on the property if you are looking for a special occasion destination at The Chrestos. The home is fully stocked so all you need is clothing and food.

The tree house is located on our 15 acres of wooded property with approx. 1 mile in walking trails in the woods on the property for exploring and observing wildlife. Our guests frequently notice our deer and other woodland creatures who share this space with us.
