Il Frantoio is an original olive press that has been charmingly restored as a luxury villa. Olives have been collected from the terraced hillsides that surround Il Frantoio for centuries. Dating back to the 16th century, as the private press for the Controni family, the frantoio was fully functional until 1997, pressing some of the best olive oil that Lucca has to offer. Les Terrasses was built 1977 onto the rockface and ideally facing south-west with breathtaking sea views from almost every room. Through a private driveway, you access the private glass elevator. The first stop will take you to the large infinity pool with an unbeatable view over the Bay. The second stop will give you the access to the Villa via a pathway hewn through Rock Walls. Turn left and enter the Villa. There you are, once you enter the house, there are no words to describe the moment.
