The Helm—2-Story Container Home close to Magnolia Market

This unique home started as two shipping containers–20' and 40'. We insulated and paneled the interior in pine shiplap and trimmed it out in 100+ year old barnwood. The outside is clad with cedar siding with spacing to allow the original container to still be seen. Entry is through the original container doors or a side entry with a standard door. We removed the steel panels from the doors and replaced them with picturesque full glass. The fun rooftop deck is surrounded by a custom cable railing system and lit with LED lights under the rail that gives the deck a beautiful glow at night. The deck and upstairs bedroom is accessed by an exterior spiral stairway. We live right around the corner so are available for anything you need including any questions on the house or your time in Waco. We’ll try to meet you to show you the house if possible but you can also check yourself in with the passcode we’ll send you the day of check-in. The location is a safe rural neighbourhood, just north of Waco and close to I-35. Surrounded by trees, cattle graze nearby. Guests are also welcome to use the lawn. Shop and eat in Homestead Cafe and Craft Village. only 3 minutes away by road. You can park right at the house and Uber is available.

This super clean two bedroom suite is spacious and quiet. Open the door to a Texas sized welcoming living room that is furnished with leather furniture. A large fully stocked kitchen with full-sized refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee and tea station is ready for whatever your cooking desire is. The suite is part of a bigger house that is completely isolated with private entrances. The house is nestled in the large pecan trees with a full sized swing set. The house is right off I35 and in an older Neighborhood but a quiet one. This is a duplex so it shares the parking garage that fits 2 cars or trucks. Baylor and Magnolia are 5min from the house, 10min to the Extraco Event center. 17min to BSR. 5min or less to restaurants (including magnolia table) and grocery store. note- the house floor is uneven due to foundation problems, but otherwise in working condition.
