The Stables at The Forge is right on the South Downs Way, in Pyecombe village, in the South Downs National Park, 15 minutes from the vibrant city of Brighton. It is a self-contained cosy one bedroom apartment with a super king bed or two singles, a double sofa bed in the lounge / dining area, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, storage, wood burner and secure off street parking. Located at the foot of the South Downs, the contemporary annexe sits adjacent to our Grade II listed cottage. Whilst completely independent of our house (separate access and a small private patio) the French doors do look across the garden to our cottage. Superbly situated for walkers, cyclists and exploring the highlights of the area - beautiful villages, wineries, historic houses & gardens, or simply for a break. Easily accessible for Brighton, the south coast and trips to London.

In a recently built house, this peaceful and centrally-located apartment is the perfect location for walking, cycling the South Downs Way or exploring all that this area has to offer. Brighton is just a few stops away by train or bus or head north for direct trains to London, Gatwick Airport or Cambridge. Hurstpierpoint village centre is within easy walking distance, with shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants, but everything is here if you prefer to cook at home and soak up the views.

There is instant access to beautiful countryside footpaths and bridleways. We are walking distance from a pub with a garden and good home-cooked food. Just an hour from London by train and 10 minutes drive from buzzy, cosmopolitan Brighton, we're also close to lots of pretty villages, lovely beaches, beautiful historic houses and gardens.

Beautiful barn, perfect for walkers, also great as a comfortable and spacious base for exploring the local countryside. Local cultural attractions include Glyndebourne, Drusilla's Park, South Downs Way. This spacious artist's home is located right on the South Downs Way, and it is only about an hour and a half walk to the coast at Exceat. There is a tree house for kids, a couple of swing seats for chilling out on, and the Cuckmere runs through the bottom of the garden.

In the heart of Mid-Sussex, our former dairy farm dates back to the early 1800's. The barn has been recently restored to provide 1000 sq ft of luxurious accommodation with wonderful views across the wheat fields to the west. Guests can enjoy countless walking and cycling trails from the front door. Brighton, historic Lewes, Glyndebourne, Hickstead and the South Downs are all a stones throw away. Gatwick is less than 30 mins by car and London a further 45 by train.
