Plenty of yard space to enjoy and a front porch, back deck, fire pit, BBQ grill, and hot tub. Look Rock and Gold Mine Trail Head are in the neighborhood. Close to the Dragon. Pet fee is requested.

A Million Dollar View! To get a view like this you’d have a terrible drive to get to it but the cabin is very convenient to the highway with only a mildly steep but short driveway. The Cabin was made from lumber cut off the land it sits on. Reclaimed Wood floors, reclaimed brick fireplace, rock chimney, wood focus walls and wainscoting throughout the cabin to separate this cabin from all the others. I got a big deck. It’s not the biggest deck ever but everyone loves this deck. You’ll see!

Cozy vintage cabin on beautiful Lake Santeetlah. Enjoy the water views from the screened in porch, dip your feet in the clear lake on the private dock, or take a kayak out to explore the coastline. In cooler weather, snuggle up by the fire with a good book. Lake Santeetlah is nestled in the mountains of NC, and 80% of the coastline is national forest. Driftwood Dreams: Lakefront with Mountain Views

Come relax & enjoy our charming cottage on the main channel of Douglas Lake. Experience breathtaking sunsets, lakeside bonfires, & refreshing dips in the cool water. Please note, the water level is highest from May-August. This home accommodates 4 adults max & 3 children. The dock does NOT have water at it during winter/early spring drawdown (typically Oct–April). Guests can still walk to the shoreline. Drought can effect levels as it’s a dam system.

You read that right. The producer loved the cabin and the view so much that 15 minutes of the Hallmark movie, “Love in the Great Smoky Mountains: A National Park Romance,” was filmed at this cabin.
