The Coach House

This expertly refurbished 19th-century Coach House is full of character and all ready for your luxurious relaxing break. The open-plan living area has a exceptional view, and when you want a change there's a large smart TV and good-quality broadband for entertainment. The kitchen comes with induction hob and oven, dishwasher and washing machine, as well as all the pots, pans & utensils you need for cooking up delicious meals. The shower room/toilet is conveniently tucked away in a corner. Walk up the distinctive oak staircase to find the upstairs bedroom, with its impressive round window. It sleeps up to three people in a kingsize double bed and a separate single, and there's also room for a travel cot for an infant.The Coach House is ideal for a couple on a romantic escape, or for a family with young children looking for a safe space to relax and play. KEY FEATURES - One bedroom – upstairs, with kingsize double and single bed, space for travel cot. - One shower room/toilet – downstairs. - Sleeps up to three, and infant. - Private outside terrace area with view, shared use of 1.5 acre secure meadow & gardens. - Dogs welcome, two maximum, small additional charge. - Young children welcome (but you may need to bring a stairgate for safety). - Smart TV (Netflix, iPlayer, Freesat etc). - Good-quality broadband/Wi-Fi (free). - Induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge (freezer available if required), dishwasher. - Dining table for four, two leather sofas. - Washing machine (and use of dryer if required). - Underfloor heating (powered by eco-friendly air source heat pumps). - Wood burner, first basket of logs free. It is perfectly situated to enjoy what the picturesque local area has to offer. The local shops, restaurants, and attractions are only a five-minute drive away.

The wooden cabin, Haven on the Hill, fully insulated build on an elevated platform with views looking over the Forest of Dean. A private and secluded dwelling situated in our grounds near our home. With good pubs and walks nearby this cabin is perfect for a stay away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Tree Tops is a spacious lodge nestled amongst the tall pine trees in the beautiful Forest of Dean. It provides easy access into the heart of the forest and directly onto the Bream Heritage Walk. An absolute haven for fun seekers with one of the UK’s best cycle trails and downhill mountain bike course, along with abseiling, caving and canoeing. For walkers a wealth of forest trails that will guide you through the forest, take in the sculpture trail or simply take a stroll along the river Wye.

Peaceful Stone Cottage among fabulous gardens

The Garden House is a peaceful stone cottage set in the historic gardens of High Glanau Manor, the home of H. Avray Tipping (1855-1933) the Architectural Editor of Country Life Magazine from 1907. High Glanau Manor is an important Arts & Crafts house set in 12 acres of gardens designed in 1922. The gardens retain many original features including formal terraces, octagonal pool, glasshouse, pergola and 100 ft long double herbaceous borders. There are spectacular views to the Brecon Beacons

Tom's Hut

Get away from it all in a cosy shepherd’s hut amongst trees in a beautiful rural location. Tom's Hut has a comfortable double bed, storage below and a compact kitchen unit with double gas hob, sink and fridge, pots, pans crockery and cutlery. Keep warm with a wood-burner and fire wood provided, or underfloor heating. Outside, there is a table for al-fresco dining. A newly built, heated shower room is close to the hut. Just 3 miles from Newent and various pubs. Please note there is no WiFi.
