Riverside Retreat

One bedroom self-contained basement apartment right on the bank of the Grand River in historic Fergus, Ontario. Very quiet. Spacious screened porch next to Grand River! Fifteen minutes walk (or less than five minutes drive) to downtown Fergus. Beautiful downtown Elora, Elora Gorge Conservation Area and Belwood Lake Conservation Area are all within a ten minute drive. Note that access is down a flight of exterior stairs and unfortunately is not suited for individuals with mobility challenges.

Broken Silo

Built in 1867, our attached carriage house has been renovated into a studio apartment. It has a private bath, complete kitchen, sitting area, in-floor heat, coffee and tea. We are located 7 kms south of Elora, 10 kms west of Fergus and 15 kms north of Guelph in the hamlet of Ponsonby. The apartment has a king size bed and a smart TV. No Pets or Smoking. Longer term rentals are available at discounted prices. We have honey bees, chickens, pigeons and a dog named Penny on the property.

Discover a piece of history in Elora, Ontario. This beautiful stone, board & batten private 1-bedroom building was the former carriage house, and is nestled at the rear of the Postmaster's yard. Enjoy the spacious king bed, fireplace, and beautiful garden oasis. Only a 10-minute walk to the downtown. The yard and parking is shared with the Postmaster's House - nothing else is shared! *Please note: the interior space-saving staircase is steep and may not be suitable for all guests*

Victorian Apartment-Downtown Elora

The Victorian Apartment is located in the heart of Elora just steps away from Bissell Park and the Elora Mill. Two floors with a full kitchen, bathrooms on both levels, laundry, upstairs outside porch and a claw foot tub make this suite uniquely cozy. The wifi has recently been upgraded to the EERO mesh system. I am open to hosting your pets as well but they have to be medium to small (Under 30 lbs) and well mannered. Please no barking dogs or dogs who mark their surroundings.
