Set on a lake in beautiful Somerset surrounded by rolling countryside, it is situated halfway between the popular artisan market-towns of Frome and Bruton and a short drive from Longleat. Four solar panels power your stay, providing you with a wonderful slice of peaceful tranquility.

Here's the 'Rambler's Retreat' A cosy off grid caravan set in a secluded spot 300 mtrs from the kennet and Avon canal towpath near Bath. It offers two double beds, a one ring cooker, a vintage washstand for victorian style body washing, 12v solar lighting and one usb charging port. Outside you have a private patio, fire bowl, washup area and your own compost toilet. (Our filtered Spring water has tested crystal clear at Wessex Laboratories.) Wood and eggs are usually available to buy on site.

Waking distance to dog friendly award winning gastro- pub and direct access onto the hills - ideal for walkers, cyclists and dog owners. Quirky, rustic, peaceful and beautiful.

Our static caravan is situated in the old parlour of our 16th Century home. Surrounded by beautiful views and countryside- it is quiet, private and rural. We are a little ‘off-grid’ - perfect place to read, see dark skies full of stars, have starlings swoop overhead and sleep in total peace. We are very dog and family-friendly here too- pets are allowed inside, there’s a private garden and access to a fully enclosed paddock to run around in off-lead/play footie. Kids are free to roam!

There is a pub in the village and the historic town of Bridport 5 minutes drive away , with a famous saturday market and good selection of pubs and cafes . Cosy up for a winter break in a beautifully converted old army truck with stunning views of Lyme Bay. In the winter months you have the whole field to yourselves, so it’s perfect for a romantic getaway. There are beautiful walks in the woods up behind my holding and a lovely riverside walk to the beach, which is perfect now the holiday crowds have gone. The truck is well insulated and has a wood burning stove.

The hut is hidden away at the end of my garden and is extremely secluded. It has a log burner to keep you cosy in the winter and a pretty bbq area for the summer. The hot tub is available all year round for your own private and exclusive use.
