Welcome! Our 19th century cottage and home, recently converted and modernised to a high standard. Set in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales. Four miles from Ashbourne - gateway to The Peak District. Our home is a great place as a chilled-out country retreat, and as base for multiple outdoor sports and adventures in Derbyshire and The Peaks. We are 12 miles from JCB Golf Club, location for Liv Golf Tournament. All the charm of a cottage, with the benefits of a modern home - super-fast Wifi.

Wonderful scenery and walks from the door, with popular towns of Buxton, Leek and Ashbourne all a few miles away by car.

The Tower

The Tower is the perfect romantic high-end getaway for couples who want to get away from it all in a secluded location and fancy just something different. The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. On the hillside below Riber Castle the property is surrounded by horse pastures and farmland. There are stunning views from every window. The house has been completely renovated with the input of an interior architect to an extremely high standard. Many of the original Victorian features have been retained and stylishly combined with a super modern kitchen and bathrooms.

The studio has been recently refurbished to a very high standard and is a calm comfortable space well equipped for you to enjoy during your stay. Comfortable bed, smart TV. The kitchen is spacious light airy and well equipped with oven induction hob, toaster microwave, kettle and washing machine. Tea coffee sugar are supplied with fresh milk in the fridge for you to enjoy a drink upon arrival.
