There is a very laid back vibe and you can’t help but relax and everything you need is in walking distance. Sanderling is a very well equipped and fully refurbished.

The interior retains the original features such as bread ovens, inglenook and beamed ceilings and is full of charm, but it has all the comforts of a modern fully equipped kitchen and stylish bathrooms. This is a perfect escape for families, couples and friends. The cottage comes with a free car pass for Putsborough Sands.

Croyde village is 1.6 miles drive The Kings Arms and 17th century Rock Inn serving fine pub food are 1 minute and a 4 minute walk away.

Backing on to the River Caen and overlooking the beautiful 13th Century Parish Church, the Barn is just a short 5 minute walk away from Braunton's Village centre and North Devon's 4 best surfing beaches are all within a short drive away (3-7 miles).

The Retreat is surrounded by all the things we love. A 5 minute walk from Croyde village, Croyde beach and a 15 minute walk to Putsborough beach. We hope that you maybe able to park your car on arrival and not need to use it again during your stay. Access up the lane next to the house to wonderful panoramic walks and views of Baggy Point. We hope its a perfect place to rest those sandy feet and unwind after a full day of sea air.
