All Airbnb’s are not alike. We are more of a destination Cottage. If you love nature, like to relax, this is it! Honey Creek is just off the deck with opportunities to see ducks, mink, herons, bald eagles and deer. The scenery changes with the season! We are 1 mile from the quaint village of Reedsville with eateries, shops and taverns... all surrounded by the Amish community. State College is 27 miles. Beautiful flower beds show their vibrant colors along side the tranquility of Honey Creek!

Established in 1857, the Colyer Mercantile is an absolute gem. The house was originally built by William Colyer and it's in his honor that Colyer Lake was named. The 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house has been completely renovated from the inside out. The historic charm of the house has not been lost, but instead, it has become it's most prized highlight. We own 200 acres surrounding the home, take a hike to the top of the mountain for great views, or keep it easy for an evening stroll . A 20 min. scenic drive to Penn State, Black Moshannon State Park, Sayers Dam Beach, or fly fishing in Spring creek. 30 mins to Penns Cave. Come enjoy the great outdoors of central PA.

Our cottage lies on the outskirts of the quaint little town of Woodward, nestled along the woods, in the midst of Amish country. We are located halfway between State College (Penn State) and Lewisburg (Bucknell), approximately 40 minutes commute either way. This area is well known for hiking, biking, hunting and excellent fly fishing.
