The Old Reading Room West Stafford

The Victorian Reading Room of West Stafford is of historical importance. Used before the war as a Reading Room for the villagers and estate workers, the newspapers were provided, the village shop in the late 1930s, then a workshop and a store room for the church. We have now lovingly restored, decorated and furnished this amazing building into a cosy self catering holiday retreat, "far from the madding crowd" Open plan, comfy double sofabed, wood burner, country walks and fabulous village pub.

A lovingly created Shepherds hut for two, in walking distance of Lulworth Cove and all the village amenities. This is one of 2 huts each with off road parking and shared access path down steps to private facilities. Next to our garden and our neighbours. All of which are family homes. A fully self contained hut including a double bed, kitchen with multi cooker, wood burner and en-suite bathroom including hot shower and state of the art composting toilet. Lime Tree Lodge - West Wing, is a self-contained apartment attached to the main house. 150yds off the A352 between the Saxon town of Wareham and the county town of Dorchester -home of Poundbury, Prince Charles’ venture into village/workplace design and development. Very central to the Jurassic Coast, the Annexe is only 2 miles from the coast with Swanage, Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, Weymouth and Portland close by. Monkey World, The Tank Museum and Hardy's cottage are about 5 - 10 mins drive.

The Pavilion is a modern, purpose built holiday house in the quiet Somerset village of Yarlington. It has all the conveniences: Wood burning stove, underfloor heating, Washer & tumble dryer, Iron & ironing board, fast fibre optic broadband and a charging station for an electric or plug in hybrid car, but sadly the mobile phone signal is very poor. The house is next to the pub and a stones throw from the church. The Newt and Hauser Wirth Gallery in Bruton are within a 15 minute drive.
