Tasseltop Cottage in Sugar Hill

Our guest house, affectionately known as the “shanty” is located in a very private setting on our property in Sugar Hill. We are located about 25 minutes from the Brenton Woods Ski area and also Loon Mountain ski area. Cannon Mountain is about a 15 minute drive. Our property abuts the Toad Hill Farm wedding venue and is a 5 minutes from the cottage. The Bishop Farm wedding venue is about 12 minutes away. See Note under "OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE" about AirBnB fees rolled into the nightly fee.

Our chalet is the ultimate mountainside escape. Nestled inside of Franconia Notch State Park while abutting the White Mountain National Forest, enjoy endless sunsets, stargazing, and panoramic views of the North Country. In the fall, it's surrounded by peaking foliage. The chalet is walking distance to Cannon Mountain and a 5-minute drive to Echo Lake Beach and endless trailheads in Franconia Notch. Perfect for couples, hikers, bikers, leaf peepers, weddings, reunions and families (with kids).

Pinestead Farm Lodge, unit 4, "The Pantry"

Pinestead is one of NH's oldest working family farms, with roots going back to 1793. The Pantry is one of 4 private guest units within our 1852 farmhouse. Once the farmhouse kitchen and pantry, here meals were prepared for Pinestead's early guests, long before today's kitchen replaced the old Dutch oven fireplace. It offers 3 bedrooms, kitchen, living room & private bath. Pinestead is simple, rustic & imperfect—not a polished “farmhouse-style” getaway. Read on to see if it's your kind of place!

Easy access to the state's most beautiful hiking and mountain biking, as well as swimming at Echo Lake and nearby golf. Three levels including a downstairs playroom, large yard, and front porch with the music of a babbling brook down the hill.
