Our 1930's decor reflects the culture of the working class gold miners of the 1930's and 40's who once made Wells the largest city in BC north of Vancouver! Privacy, unique accommodation features, all amenities, and a convenient central location. We're the gateway to to Barkerville Historic Park, the Bowron Lake CAnoe Circuit and the Cariboo Mountains. Today, the tiny town that remains retains its historic charm and period architecture and is now renowned for our Arts, History and Culture.

Meadow Suites, Forget Me Not Suite

The Forget Me Not Suite is a little larger than the Fireweed. It has its own entrance from a private porch with a small BBQ and sitting area. Inside, the suite is brightly decorated with lots of natural light. Besides the Queen bed there is a roomy sitting area with couch and sofa chair, a dining table and a full but compact kitchen, and there is a private 3 piece bathroom with shower. Very peaceful, with a view to mountains and meadow, and only a minutes walk to all amenities.

Our Second Floor Nest is Best!

Welcome home! You’ve made it to Island Mountain Arts’ (IMA) Artist-in-Residence building, which we have lovingly come to refer to as The Nest! After housing studies and fundraising, The Nest was acquired in 2014 to host visiting artists and artists-in residence throughout the year. During down-time, the space is rented out to friends like you, who are hoping to discover more of what the wonderful world of Wells can offer. Your stay with us in the Nest supports the Arts in Wells.

Willow River Inn

The Willow River Inn is a 1930's wooden heritage building with two balconies overlooking the mountains. Two and a half stories tall, the upper floor and optional loft consist of 5 bedrooms, two bathrooms and two balconies. In addition there is a warm and social living and dining space and a fully serviced kitchen with all the modern conveniences. Besides its unique atmosphere, its location next to all amenities make it a perfect base for all summer and winter activities.

Camp 72 On Quesnel Lake (Likely)

Quiet home is on 1 flat acre on Quesnel lake with 100 ft of water front lake access , private 8’x 20’ dock with 2 bedrooms, hide-Bed Sofa and 1.5 baths as well private patio for ur enjoyment! House is 5 mins from historic down town Likely and 26km away from Yanks Peak ( 20 min drive) for snowmobiling , quading , side by siding , biking , and hiking adventures.
