We created it as the kind of place we’d want to escape to: somewhere you can curl up in the cinema room after a day on the fells. With private parking for two cars, an enclosed garden for privacy, and the lake and local eateries just a short stroll away, this is your base for exploring the best of the Lakes.

Immaculate studio space for 2 people (no children) who need time out of their busy lives to shut off and re-charge. It comprises of an open plan lounge/kitchen/king size bed and bathroom with shower, with sliding doors onto a verandah which overlooks the beautiful running water and the woodland, where if you're lucky you might spot a deer or two. We live nearby if you do need us for anything.

Guests get full use of the large garden and woodland to take in the stunning view. If travelling by train our advice would be get a taxi from the station as can be difficult to find on foot . Guests are welcome to park up as early as you want before check in or drop luggage off in a safe place,but please let us know in advance.
